Singapore contains 63 islets within its territorial waters and island of Singapore. The main island is about 26 mi. from west to east and 14 mi. from north to south. Singapore is warm and humid all year round, with the temperature (68°F) at night, and (86°F) during the day.

Khalid Fazly will give a presentation on his country of origin, Afghanistan! The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is located in South Asia and Central Asia. Afghanistan is bordered by Iran, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and China. Afghanistan is the 41st largest country in the world by area. A lot of rocky mountains known as the Hindu Kush are in Afghanistan; as well areas of desert. New Year “Nowruz”, is celebrated by Afghans on March 21st.

The capital city, Bejing, mixes modern architecture with historic sites and has a variety of natural resources, plants and animals. China has a long history with many cultures and customs. China has given the world paper, gunpowder, printing and the compass.
